Access to Medicines (A2M) Campaign with UAEM Korea

  • The access to medicines (A2M) campaign, in collaboration with UAEM Korea, seeks to stimulate interest in A2M and the right to health amongst young people in South Korea
  • Through advocacy campaigns, research projects, conferences, and engagement with other international A2M movements, the project facilitates public dialogue and potential solutions regarding domestic medical access, and nurtures young leaders to cultivate a safer and progressive medical environment in South Korea
  • Human Asia helps UAEM Korea prepare and lead various innovative advocacy projects and public awareness campaigns on South Korea’s progressive access to medicine

Joint Action on the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination

  • Every March, Human Asia participates in joint action gatherings with other migrant and refugee-related non-profit organisations in commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination
  • Human Asia participates in booth activities and parades to raise awareness of racial discrimination and advocate for the creation of comprehensive anti-discrimination laws in Korea

Korea Refugee Film Festival (KOREFF)

  • The Korea Refugee Film Festival is an official annual event held in celebration of World Refugee Day
  • The festival aims to raise awareness of refugee issues through film screenings, Q&A sessions with refugees and refugee activists in South Korea, and cultural events organised by refugee communities
  • Human Asia actively participates in Korea Refugee Film Festival as part of the Refugee Human Rights Network to inform the wider public of refugee issues in South Korea
