The 13th Young Human Rights Activists Workshop (2018.08.25)

On 25 August, Human Asia hosted the first session of the 13th Young Human Rights Activists Workshop. Young people in their 20s and 30s are interested in human rights will take part in various lectures on different topics related to the human rights of refugees living in South Korea, including: the definition of refugees in the perspective of the international agreement, the status quo of refugees living in South Korea, the issue of Jeju Yemeni refugees, refugee women and their children, the current address of detained refugees in South Korea, health rights of refugees, and refugees’ human rights education, for  four weeks. After the lecture, they will draft their own lecture plan and practice teaching in middle and high schools in October. Good luck to those of you who will be participating in the workshop for the next two months!
