We have the pleasure of inviting you to our forum "Beyond COVID-19: Access to Medicines and Vaccines in Asia" on Friday 5 March 2021. The event will be held in an offline and online format (blended event).
▶️ This one-day event aims to facilitate dialogue between medical experts, government and pharmaceutical representatives, international organizations, and civil society on current and potential challenges to equitable access to medications in the Asia-Pacific region.
▶️ It will explore how countries in Asia - prime amongst them Korea - are working towards operationalizing commitment to COVID-19 vaccines as a public good, as “developed vaccines and treatments are public goods for humanity, and should be distributed fairly”, whilst also examining routes for collaborative action on a regional level to ensure that the needs of non-COVID-19 patients and populations are met.
▶️ The event is proudly co-hosted by Human Asia and KAHRS, co-organized with UAEM Korea and sponsored by Open Society Foundations.
If you are interested in participating in the forum, please complete this online registration form (https://bit.ly/A2Mforum) at your earliest convenience before 4 March 2021 (KST) if you wish to participate online, and by 26 February 2021 (KST) if you wish to participate offline.
